The REAL way to clean up muddy metal guitar tone

Muddy metal guitar tone is something that plagues us all as recording engineers.

I recently had a subscriber email me asking how he can achieve guitar tones like the ones he hears on his favorite recordings.

He mentioned that he’s even using the exact same amp sim and settings that someone on YouTube is using…but for some reason his tone doesn’t sound anywhere near as good.

How can this be?

Well, in reality, a great sounding guitar tone DOES NOT start with gear or magical settings.

In my latest tutorial, I share the real way that pro producers clean up muddy metal guitar tone.

It’s small tweaks like these that most people tend to overlook that’ll produce the results you really want.
