Why should you have an analog mindset in your modern day home studio?
Most of us are using nothing more than a DAW, handful of plugins and a minimal amount of gear within our home studios.
The inexpensive audio tools that we’re fortunate enough to have today are infinitely more powerful than the hardware pro engineers had to work with 30 years ago.
People tend to glorify the analog days..
But the truth is that you have access to higher track counts..
Cleaner signal paths..
And an INSANE amount of mixing tools that engineers could only dream of having back in the old days.
In other words, you have more power in your laptop than engineers had in multimillion dollar studios as recently as 30 years ago.
With that being said, why the hell am I suggesting that having an “analog mindset” is the way to success in your home studio?
In my latest video, I share with you the 3 major ways that having an analog mindset in your home studio will greatly benefit you…even if your home studio is nothing more than a laptop and headphones.
