I LOVE EZdrummer for recording.
We truly are blessed when it comes to all of the powerful tools we have at our disposal in our simple home studios.
It would have required a small fortune to record a professional sounding record at home only 20 years ago.
These days, there are people recording albums in their bedrooms and garages. Recordings that sound better than albums recorded in multi-million dollar studios back in the 80’s and 90’s.
We all have the power to create 100% pro-sounding-radio-ready productions virtually anywhere….IF we know how.
Even though there are still non-believers out there (I have no idea how this is possible at this point given all of the real-world proof), gear is non-issue these days.
The only thing stopping you from achieving those polished, record-quality recordings is a lack of knowledge and a crystal clear game plan in the studio.
One of the biggest secrets behind achieving those pro results we all long for is to start with a SOLID foundation for the music we’re working on.
A tool like EZdrummer is, in my opinion, one of the most powerful tools that you can use when it comes to getting your song into proper shape.
Even though I use EZdrummer for songwriting…and sometimes even in the final mix…
My favorite use of it is when it comes time to laying the foundation for my upcoming production. Well before I set up a single microphone in my studio.
