Why should you record demos in your home studio?
I mean, you’re gonna have to re-record everything when it comes time to record your music for real…
Why spend all of this extra time demoing your songs?
We’ll I’m here to tell you that there’s a reason why all pro producers and engineers spend a ton of time on preproduction (demos):
It makes things A MILLION times easier when it comes time to hit the studio…even if you’re the one sitting behind the producer’s chair when that time comes.
The problem is that there are a plethora of moving parts that usually take place within even the simplest of songs that often go unnoticed in a full-band live rehearsal.
In other words…a crappy iPhone recording of your band practice is NOT a proper demo recording.
You’ve gotta be able to hear the subtle details of your music in order to solidify you music like a pro.
Taking the time to record preproduction demos will allow you to sort these details out BEFORE you go through the trouble of recording your music for real.
Demoing your music is not only simple..you can do it on the cheap.
In this video I not only explain why you should record demos in your home studio..
I show you every piece of gear you’ll need for demoing your songs and exactly how to do it.
Also, I’ve put together a free Ebook that contains everything from the video (plus more!). Download the PDF by clicking HERE.
