Mixing On Small Studio Monitors

Are small studio monitors worth it?

People often ask if they should invest in a subwoofer for their home studio.

They also often ask if they should upgrade and pick up a pair of monitors that are bigger than the ones they’re currently using.

I achieved great results with that setup.  I had never even considered switching to anything else..

It wasn’t until i started using a pair of IK Multimedia iLoud Micro Monitors for simple editing work that I realized the power of mixing on smaller speakers.

At this point in my production career..
